What makes a healthy life? Many aspects of our lives contribute to our well being. Researchers, doctors, exercise gurus, and specialists have committed their lives to getting the best information to the public through their publications.

In February, 2007 my father was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. By October, 2007 he was gone. My father's story unfortunately is not unique; as families and friends, we've all experienced these storms of life.

What we eat, think, say, and do affects not just ourselves, but our children and grandchildren.

Basil & Spice is the outgrowth of my experiences and those of our incredible contributors, each with his own story.
