Did you know that "July" is the month where most people give up on their "lean body" goals and conclude that looking and feeling better is something that they will now deal with after summer? Well, this week I want to inspire you to continue striving toward achieving the change that you desire.
The word "change" literally takes on the same meaning as "stress" and vice versa. When most of us are faced with "change" we take on feelings of emotional turbulence. The key to dealing with "change" (AKA stress) is to accept the reality that you cannot change other people ... you cannot change your present emotional experiences and you cannot change past-painful experiences. The only thing you can change is you, your habits and the direction you want your life to thrive in! The key to embracing change and following through with your desire to change is to learn how to quickly move into acceptance of things, situations and life's happenings (embrace change) instead of falling prey to being led by your emotions and resisting the behavior, actions and reality that you can only control one thing -- you and your behavior.
You control your destiny and it begins right now!! My goal is to encourage you to take a second and third look at the changes in your life that are necessary for you to be lean and healthy for the rest of your life.
