Review: Earth Care's Clear The Air Pet Odor Eliminator

By Alice Berger

Earth Care's Clear the Air air fresheners have been a pleasant surprise for us and our multi-pet household.  I am allergic to scented products, and these air cleaning granules are completely unscented. Rather than attempting to mask odors, they actually pull the odors out of the air and remove them.

One of our dogs is older and occasionally incontinent, so I applied Clear the Air to some of the spots where she has had accidents in the past.  Normally when I enter the room, I notice a faint urine odor from the carpet, but the morning after I applied this product, I smelled nothing at all.  And the smell has not come back, even after vacuuming the granules up.

These granules are completely non-toxic, and safe if pets eat them. They are non-staining, even when wet, and safe for the environment. You can even dispose of them by sprinkling them in your garden.

Earth Care products are available at Petco and Petco.com, as well as several fine pet supply retailers in California.  Price is $10.00 - $50.00 depending on the size of the canister.  They come in several different styles, including skunk odor remover, urine odor remover, and dead animal odor remover.  They also can be applied to concrete and lawns, as well as furniture and carpets.

I've tried many air freshening products that simply didn't live up to expectation.  Earth Care's Clear The Air Pet Odor Eliminator will be the only one I use from now on for removing animal odors. 5 Stars

Interesting writeup, never heard of this. I will definitely have to give it a try.
