Texas Holds The Cure To Cancer
Nov 16, 2007 Lance Armstrong's Livestrong Organization has stated that Texas holds the cure to cancer. The cost of of cancer yearly for Texas alone is $30 billion! This year, 95,000+ Texans will be diagnosed, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cancer, and 650,000+ Texans have had or are living with the disease. Nationally, approximately 600,000 are claimed by cancer each year.
Federal funding for cancer research has been reduced. I've stated before that in my own research of pancreatic cancer for my father, researchers themselves told me about the problem. Lance Armstrong says the solution lies with individual states--being led by Texas. Prop 15, a constitutional amendment was recently passed in that great state. It will allow for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas to: conduct research to prevent or cure cancer, support existing cancer research efforts in Texas, and implement the Texas Cancer Plan, a statewide blueprint for cancer prevention and control. The amendment will also authorize up to $3 billion in state general revenue bonds to fund cancer research, prevention, early detection and control programs.
The passing of Proposition 15 is the largest state-level investment in cancer research and prevention in history. It has been endorsed by Texas Senator Hutchison, former President George H.W. Bush, Texas Governor Rick Perry, former Comptroller John Sharp and Lance Armstrong himself.
Lance Armstrong states that this type of "commitment of resources" is what led to the virtual eradication of polio in the 20th century, and it can be successful against cancer in this century.

Various cancer types have been shown to be responsive to oral melatonin (10-50 mg daily), including breast cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, metastatic renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and brain metastases from solid tumors.

There are over 1100 medical journal articles about melatonin on PubMed.

You can type in melatonin melanoma, or melatonin prostrate, or many other cancers and see what researchers have to say about how melatonin will cure cancers.
The Hoxsey treatment was very successful, so successful it was run out of the U.S. and now can only be found in Mexico.

Salvestrols are tumour-specific; when the salvestrol comes into contact with the tumour-specific enzyme the salvestrol is metabolized and turned into toxin within cancer cells which brings about ‘cell death’ (apoptosis) and, by this means, destroys the cancer cell(s). It is also claimed that salverstrols are only active in cancer cells and are very selective and non-toxic to healthy cells, but are highly potent and safe.

I appreciate your comment. I too know individuals who have been "saved" by Gerson's, juicing, and other types of alternative treatment. My father even met a local man with unmetastasized pancreatic cancer who is still alive after several years. His secret--he eats raw clams everyday! There is no doubt that we still are on the undiscovered brink of cures. But cancers are many, and responses few. Which "cure" will you bet your life on?
Better yet, "An ounce of prevention is worth the pound of cure."
